Final Paper

KEYWORDS: LO2, Managing Complexity, stakeholder salience

This paper, titled Supersaturated Stakeholder Saliency, is a strong demonstration of the knowledge I acquired and demonstrated as part of the Foundation of Strategic Communications class. Within the paper, the concept of stakeholder saliency is explored and expanded upon to generate an enhanced model to assign stakeholder saliency. From the basics of power, legitimacy, and urgency the concepts of level of interest, hierarchy, reputation, culture, and influence strategies were added to further define overall stakeholder salience. Similar to the deck that showed all the figures that were created to support the paper, this work supports LO2 in that it is an illustration of my ability to assess complex organizational environments and achieve communicative goals.
